Will Costa Rica fall from the top as soon as they return home after the defeat on the first day of the match?

Ticos at the Rommel Fernandez Gutierrez Olympic Stadium on Thursday night, 2-0 defeat by Panama.

Three years ago, Costa Rica was first in the League of Nations group before losing to Mexico in a penalty shootout in the semi-finals last summer.

If Luis Fernando Suarez’s team wants to reach the final next year, it must win.

Having said all that, Costa Rica is really using these two League of Nations games as a preparation for next week’s giant match.

In nine days, they will face New Zealand in the inter-confederation playoffs in Qatar, and the winners will qualify for the World Cup.

So, seeing the end of a seven-match unbeaten streak, will Costa Rica win a moral boost ahead of the upcoming big game?

Meanwhile, Martinique, despite not actually a member of FIFA, competes in the highest league of the League of Nations.

Les Matinino survived at this level in 2019, drawing three of four matches to take second place to Trinidad and Tobago.

Martinique has also appeared in four of the last five Golden Cups, indicating that they are a growing force in the CONCACAF region.

This is their first competitive match since last July, which means that Costa Rica should be very strong at the Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica.

Guatemala vs Belize

Can he return to Guatemala after a shock defeat on the first day of the match?

Los Chapines entered the second round of the League of Nations with a 100% record in this competition and scored 25 goals in four appearances.

However, in his first games in the B League on Thursday, Stade Municipal Dr. Edmard Lama beat French Guinea 2-0.

So, if Luis Fernando Tena’s side wants to live up to their dream of rising back and forth, it must surely win.

Belize lost 2-0 to the Dominican Republic in Belmopanda on the opening night of the tournament.

The Jaguars only survived at this level in 2019, clearing a point of danger, and this will no doubt be their goal again.

So, despite the mid-week results, Guatemala Estadio Doroteo Guamuch should be very strong in Flores.

Dominican Republic and French Guinea

On the first day of the Group B Group D match, the two winners will set 100% records at the Estadio Olímpico Félix Sánchez.

In Guinea, French Guinea, the group’s favorites defeated Guatemala 2-0, causing outrage.

Joel Sarrucco came out of a predicament before Thomas Némouthé doubled his lead on the eve of the half.

Yana Dokos was very unstable at this level in 2019, winning twice, drawing twice and losing twice.

But if Thierry De Neef’s team can add another win here, they will be in a pole position to advance to this early stage.

The Dominican Republic will feel the same way after beating Belize 2-0 in Belmopanda on Thursday.

Jean Carlos López and later Dorny Romero scored on this trip.

Quisqueyanos has never qualified for the Gold Cup in 13 attempts, hoping to make it to the 2023 edition.

Who will have three important points in Santo Domingo?

Antigua and Barbuda vs Guadeloupe

Or will CONCACAF win two wins in the League of Nations?

Guadeloupe left the game late on Thursday night, but Stade René beat Cuba 2-1 at the Serge Nabajoth Stadium.

Earlier, Gregory Hendrey opened the scoring, and at 90 o’clock Thierry Ambrose won the home team.

The Gwada Boys rose to this level in 2019, winning Group C over the Turks and Caicos Islands and Sint Marteen.

Guadeloupe, which also won the Golden Cup last summer, is undoubtedly determined to continue this trajectory.

Meanwhile, in Antigua and Barbuda, Daren was late to win on the first day of the game, beating Barbados 1-0 at the Sammy Cricket Ground.

The only goal of the night was Shavorn Philip, who arrived at the stop of the second half.

Benna Boys won three and lost three times in the B League three years ago, but now he wants to rise to the top.

Will he win another victory at the Warner Park Sports Complex and move up to the top of the tournament table?

Cuba and Barbados

After losing both on the first day of the match, who will miss Santiago de Cuba?

On Thursday night, Cuba started the CONCACAF League of Nations campaign with a hearty defeat.

They were ready to leave Les Abymes with a reliable point, Michael Reyes equalized late, Guadeloupe won the game at the stop.

This means that the Caribbean Lions, suffering from relegation from the A League in the last round, lost all five games in this competition.

Similarly, Barbados lost 1-0 to Antigua and Barbuda on Thursday, coming just after the 90th minute.

Bajan Tridents rose to this level in 2019, beating the C League Group over the Cayman Islands, St. Martin and the US Virgin Islands.

However, the initial signs are that the two will struggle to stay afloat this year.

Will Cuba count home advantages at Estadio Antonio Maceo?

Dominica vs Anguilla

Dominica and Anguilla face off for the second time in just three days.

On Thursday night, the two performed at the opening match of this new season of the League of Nations at Raymond E. Guishard Technical Center.

The match ended goalless and Dominica had three or four clear chances to win it.

This is undoubtedly a more impressive moment for Anguilla, which is ranked 210th in the world by FIFA, which means that only San Marino is below them.

Anguilla had previously conceded 47 goals and lost nine in a row.

So, this time at home, Dominica will score a lot of all three points.

Rajesh Latchoo’s team was relegated from the B League in 2019, so they aim to return to the second tier immediately.

However, with games losing to Saint Lucia on Thursday, who lost two points on Thursday, it should definitely win.

Will Dominica be strong this time around as the two reunite at the Warner Park Sports Complex?
