If you buy a package of frames / lenses, a fast service of three to four days is available for $ 9. (It takes a bit longer for the types of progressive and bifocal lenses.) The quality of the lenses I received was as good as on other lens replacement sites, so there is no sacrificing the quality of prescription glasses for speed.
As for new lenses for your current frame, you send your frames to Overnight Glasses and they will replace your lenses with new ones in 48 hours. The service can run polarized, blue light, transitions and many other types, although progressives need an additional two days (i.e. a total of 72 hours from the time your frames are received).
If you’re really looking for an overnight option, an emergency, 24-hour emergency service costs an additional $ 59 for single vision. As mentioned, ordering progressive lenses can take an additional two days, so you can get new progressive lenses in three days the fastest.

Although it offers full frame / lens packages, Lensabl puts its lens replacement service up front and in the center and comes high in search results when google “lens replacement”. His motto is “Your frames, our lenses”, with prices starting at $ 77 for the purchase of a basic pair of single-lens lenses. A pair of tinted sunglasses costs $ 97. Budget new lens options are decent enough, but it makes a difference (in terms of sharpness and clarity) to switch to lenses over the $ 150 range.
You upload your recipe online and choose the type of lens you want, and then Lensabl sends you a box with a prepaid refund label. You simply send your old frame by mail in the box (delivery is free). Users who get prescription lenses for the first time get a 15% discount.

Although it has had stores around New York City for some time, ReplaceRxLenses is somewhat new to the online lens replacement arena. My experience of using this vendor was smooth, with a relatively fast time (about a week, but I was in New York). Its prices are competitive and slightly cheaper for some types of lenses.
The site says that what sets it apart from the competition is that it does not have a mounting format for fulfilling orders, where one worker is responsible for producing lenses, another is responsible for monitoring the frame and edges of the lens to match the frame and others could perform final inspection of glasses. “In our country, one technician works on the customer’s order from the beginning to the end,” a representative told me. “We believe this format results in a better end product because there is almost no chance of information being lost or making mistakes along the way.”
ReplaceRxLenses says it can replace prescription glasses or replace non-prescription lenses for Bose, Amazon Echo, Snapchat glasses and many other audio / smart frames.
Significant features of the site: The site says it has experience working with frame types and lenses that some other places can’t handle. “We have a lot of experience working with sports frames, frames, antique frames and extended range recipes,” a representative told me. “Many other online replacement services can only work with certain types of frameworks and up to certain regulations.”
The site tries to get as much information about the customer’s frame as possible in advance so that it can start working on the order even before it receives the frame, which helps speed up the order. (I sent a photo of my frame).

As with all the other sites here, you simply choose the lens you want (this can be a little daunting because there are so many options) and you’ll get a pre-labeled box with which you can return your frames, with free shipping in both directions. If you don’t know your recipe – and don’t want to change your current recipe – you can choose to have Eyeglasses.com technicians “read your lenses and multiply them.”
The service is not super fast in terms of processing time, but the lenses are of high quality, and the glasses page has good online help options, including a lens replacement wizard and an online chat feature. Unlike Lensabla, which highlights its lens replacement service, Eyeglasses.com does not offer a front and middle option.

There is a large selection of lens options, and you get the “Perfect Lens Guarantee” which allows you to send your glasses back if they don’t work for you – you can get reprocessing or a full refund, of your choice.

LensDirect says it can make quality lenses for a wide range of frames – “virtually any frame unless there is absolutely no fundamental sense such as putting +7.5 recipes on a frameless frame” – and has its own in-house machine that can to cut lenses at any time (and other traders have this). “We make lens replacement more affordable than our competitors without sacrificing quality,“A representative told me.
However, LensDirect does not produce replacement lenses for Bose and Amazon audio glasses.
My lens replacement took about a week and the quality of the lens was high. After using the discount codes, the price of the lenses I got was slightly lower than on some competing sites like Lensabl.
Significant features of the site: The site has a virtual testing feature if you purchase a package of frames and lenses. When it comes to older audiences (people who wear progressive or bifocal lenses), lens options are usually more affordable (with discount codes applied), especially when it comes to 1.67 high-index lenses, which are 40% thinner and lighter than standard CR39 lens. “Even for younger audiences who want to get a cheap spectacle frame and get exactly the lens they need, our CR39 and polycarbonate lenses are more affordable even for them,” the representative said.
