Fox News is like a network. It is not just Takers Carlson, the promoter of white nationalism, the usual trade funnel for far-right and neo-Nazi conspiracies. It is a network decision.
This happened after two separate incidents in which far-right provocateurs sought conservative targeted events with violent intent. Idaho police arrested 31 members of a violent fascist group who had boarded a rented truck for the purpose of inciting disorder; police found a series of weapons and documents outlining a possible plan. The San Francisco group “Proud Boys” broke into the public library’s “Drag Queen Story Hour” event, shouting and trying to incite violence against the performer.
The attempted attack on the Pride in the Park celebrations in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, did not come out of the blue. The event was highlighted by the high-profile anti-LGBT Twitter account “Libs of TikTok”, nicknamed by a dedicated influencer, Chaya Raikik. The Southern Center for Poverty Rights reports that David Reilly, and possibly Reel-related spam, report the superiority of whites. The Idaho Tribune focused on this particular event, as did other far-right hate figures.
It is possible that these figures themselves acted in response to the rhetoric of Idaho Republican elected officials such as Repes Heather Scott. Many, many pride events are taking place all over the country this month, but it was Raidik who chose violent nationalist groups.
These various threats of violence follow the massacre in Buffalo, New York, by a far-right terrorist who also spoke against “pedophiles and groomers” targeting children, reflecting the exact new rhetoric promoted by Republican lawmakers and conservative media. These threats are not theoretical. As a result of the rhetoric promoted by the so-called conservative figures, violent fascist groups are diverting their attention from their previous goals and those called up. Republicans highlight groups to turn to; paramilitary groups allied with these Republicans are providing forces to put new goals “in place.” This is a feature of fascist regimes, and it is difficult to count the number of times we have had to say this recently.
You’ll also notice that these latest scams are the result of a shift in the Republican “common” panic goals. This may be because the recent attacks on schools, teachers, and public libraries were relatively outdated for allegedly “caring” for children by providing books written by black authors, history lessons that reference America’s long history of racism, or insufficient hostile to them. LGBT teens in their care, attacks that stifled news cycles and led to large-scale censorship campaigns led by Republican elected officials, but did not lead to many ballot boxes.
The shift from allegations that teachers are predators to allegations that wolf queens are predators could also be short-lived – a correction was made in response to the murder of two teachers and 19 children in Uvaldas, Texas. The nationally conservative campaign, which marks teachers as “common”, becomes even more incoherent if it is accompanied by new requirements for teachers to carry weapons.
Whatever the reason, members of the Proud Boys and other violent fascist groups are now cracking down on Pride’s activities and towing performances, as members of the school board did a few months ago. Fascist killers are flexible about what they are targeting and more interested in targeting an enemy than the specifics of who that enemy should be. It was once an “antifa”. Now colorfully dressed performers read picture books to children. When the month of pride is over, it could change again.
But for now, the language of the far-right terrorist in the days before the Buffalo massacre is literally being repeated by other members of the fascist crowd.
Again, however, this is a very deliberate shift in Republican rhetoric, and there is no doubt that it contributes to violence against the chosen targets. For no other reason do you deceive the potential danger of marginalized groups. And it’s ubiquitous.
It is made up mainly of Trump’s allies, the anti-democracy, the pro-fascist group, which has been responsible for including almost any hoax in recent years.
It is used in particular to make the news cycle more difficult so that the Americans and Republican allies who support Tramp have something to focus on while the rest of the country hears new evidence every day about the Republican-backed coup attempt.
Again: it is used specifically to break the news cycle, to give Republicans something new to focus on, new fears to put in the minds of their supporters as pure attention. It is deliberate.
… and it seems that none of the ambitious self-advertisers involved have any doubts about using a template to incite hate crime that has proven to be more effective than any other. A hoax is created by claiming that this or that group is endangering your children, your family, or your soul. The movement is flooding America with a new hoax, finding and publishing specific goals to use as apparent examples. The substrate is treated with new foam, leaving no time to recover from the last foam, and a significant part of this base really believes in deception and believes that the new dangers are real.
And then one of these people takes up arms and starts shooting at people.
It’s Pizzagate and the different types of QAnon scams, and again, only a minimal minimum change is made to refresh the same hate campaigns. We were once told that Hillary Clinton and a number of painfully boring Democrat allies were either “caring” for our children or simply eating them directly. Then they became school teachers who “cared” for children, teaching them even the most unpleasant parts of American history. Now Fox News is absolutely horrified about the presence of the drag queen …
… a flashy way of dressing that every conservative involved is well aware of is dated forever. None of these people were foaming for Bob Houp appearing in the dress. Or Rudy Julian. Drag performances have been the basis of entertainment long before Shakespeare may have no waterway in America in its repertoire, and the number of modern entertainers who have never put on stunning wigs and colorful dresses is smaller. much less. Everyone is currently cheating on drag performances grew up with them.
The Proud Boys are still loyal to Rudy Juliani, despite his own towing performance. This is not about people wearing full makeup and inch-diameter artificial pearls looking at the audience who came to see it. And no one is “groomed” by a library of giggling children’s performances. There are many children who are “cared for” to become menacing fools, forever attached to any new paranoia imposed on them by an idiot.
There’s only one of those two Americans with whom I feel comfortable leaving preschoolers for an hour, and it’s not the weird weird rifle T-shirt.
However, the promotion of violence against these groups is again deliberate. It is planned. This is a campaign. For Florida’s Governor Ron Desantis, it’s part of the upcoming presidential election campaign, and just as DeSantis chose to turn masks into a cultural war problem as a million Americans died in a pandemic and tried to prevent Americans from being vaccinated with large numbers. due to rhetoric, seems completely insignificant. He doesn’t care. No one involved here cares.
And yes, DeSantis and the conspiracy theorists he surrounds himself are the founders of these new “common” counterfeits, and that is entirely because Republicanism, now a strictly fascist movement, cannot function without highlighting American “enemies” who can act as a goal. for low aggression. There is always an enemy. There is always a group that can be blamed for all the nations’ misfortunes, even imaginary ones.
It is impossible to imagine a conservative version that does not include these enemies – that is the basis of the movement in the United States. Segregation was the rock on which the modern movement was built; The contempt for the white, non-protestant, and unjust Americans was, in any case, based on an imaginary future in which these other Americans would be overwhelmed by the white race if the white masters of culture relaxed for the moment by exercising the necessary repression.
That’s the basis of Fox News, and that’s why Fox executives suddenly believe it’s “pulling queens” that is really threatening America, not the multi-layered Republican Party’s attempts to overthrow the United States government. a mad crawler can continue its campaign of petty national corruption. Groomer’s talk was previously directed at educators, primarily about a possible conspiracy to teach every child in America sophisticated graduate-level theories about the role of racism in the U.S. legal system, but shifted to allegations that teachers “nurture.” children in a sexual sense, because conservatism as a movement is too stupid to refrain from any measurable pedophilia claims for any measurable time.
The attacks have now shifted to parents who support transbounders rather than treat them, to public events in which LGBT Americans have a cruel existence, and to child performers. Of course. Naturally. And with proud boys, to make sure that each of the new goals mentioned knows that the threat of death to them is not just theoretical.
We have talked before that QAnon’s statements are in themselves a plan for neo-Nazi anti-Semitic propaganda, as “globalists” are now replacing “Jews” and randomly named democrats who are new allies of the secret globalist (Jews). movement of literal predators of children. It goes without saying that for the Republican Party, which is now deeply immersed in fascist views, these theories of “secret predators” seem more convincing than others; after all, they are decoys that last for centuries.
And all this is meant as a threat. The suppression of these goals is the whole point; whether this is done by targeting Republican lawmakers against the oppressed, or whether it is done stochastically, using acts of violence haphazardly enough to make the other members of the outside group voluntarily hide, there is no concern as long as the goals are “removed” from the discourse. Fox News did not decide to suddenly start attacking trans-Americans, because any staff suddenly had new, strong feelings for trans-Americans that they did not have six months ago. They did so because the news cycle needed a new enemy. Someone who could be defiled in front of the base as a problem.
And what happens after Fox News has shown in every previous cycle in which the enemy of the network has been the target of its hosts is irrelevant. In the absence of a conscientious objection to turning pandemic security into a cult of partisan death cults, if Republicans can continue to consider the attempts to capture and assassinate members of the government disloyal to Tramp insignificant, something is only now being investigated and insulted. With the continuation of the conspiracy against Trump, there will be no hesitation in endangering the lives of these new targets.
And then a new goal will be chosen.
