On Friday, when the Supreme Court Judge Samuel Alito overturned Roe V Wade’s 1972 abortion ruling, the nation burst into tears of joy and dissatisfaction.
In his opinionAlito emphasized the many rights and freedoms directly granted to the American people. He also pointed out that the Court gives people the right to influence the future.
But Friday’s news revealed a deeper problem in America. It emphasized the presence of pure ignorance and the lack of personal responsibility. Headlines, announcements, social media entries, protests and broadcasts highlighted a problem that is infecting the nation faster than the recent COVID-19 pandemic.
Democrats, celebrities, and the broad media have led the way in continuing to condemn the verdict as a repeal of the American people’s constitutional rights. Many argue that the Alito judgment undermines such rights and freedoms.
Former Disney children’s star Selena Gomes on Friday reinforced the story by posting on Twitter that she believes the rights are being stripped.

It is appalling to watch constitutional rights taken away. A woman must have the right to CHOOSE what she wants to do with her body. End of story.

Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House of Representatives, also shared this misinformation she said“American women today have less freedom than their mothers.”
If you read the Court’s opinion, these allegations can be refuted and clarified as an act of empowering the American people, despite the claims of President Baiden and others.
Alito said: “Roo has been in conflict with the constitution since the day it was passed, Casey repeated those mistakes, and these mistakes do not apply to any secret corner of the law that the American people have little meaning to do. “, The court usurped the right to address the issue with a deep moral and social significance, which the Constitution clearly leaves to the people.
It was his way of pointing out that the Court was not an arbiter of access to life-changing decisions, such as abortion, nor of the authority determining the right to monitor such choices. The court decided to restore the right of people to manage such matters in their country of residence on the basis of the influence of their votes.
Alito explained this: “It’s time to abide by the constitution and return the abortion issue to the people’s elected representatives.”
Alito goes on to say that, returning to the foundations of the Constitution, if the Court is to uphold the right to abortion, it imposes a particular theory on the question of what is life?
“Our views are not based on whether and when prenatal life is entitled to any of the rights that are enjoyed after birth. Controversy, on the other hand, would impose a special theory on people as to when personal rights begin. According to the controversy, the Constitution stipulates that states must consider that the fetus lacks even the simplest human right – to live – at least until the point of arbitrary pregnancy. Nothing in the Constitution or in the legal traditions of our country allows the Court to accept this “theory of life,” Alito said.
He pointed out that neither the Satversme nor any legal tradition allows the Supreme Court to adopt a “theory of life” that would be the exact moment when the fruit is proclaimed a person. In essence, the Court does not want to be required to adopt a moral position which determines whether or not a particular life has value.
Throughout his opinion, Alito made it clear that the “theory of life,” or the decision of when life becomes viable and right, is not defined and upheld in the U.S. constitution.
“We therefore believe that the Constitution does not grant the right to abortion. Roe and Casey must be abolished and the right to regulate abortion must be returned to the people and their elected representatives.
Despite Alito’s clear and defined details, the government and the media continue to push for a narrative that abortion is a “constitutional right.”
On Friday, President Biden made a false statement by addressing the people, spreading misinformation and provoking severe emotional responses from Americans.

Others argue that this verdict is nothing more than a gateway to end access to contraception, same-sex marriage and other rights. Although there is never a guarantee that this right will not be challenged before the Court, Alito addresses these issues directly.
Professor Robert Reich of Berkely reinforced these assertions that the deprivation of other rights would follow directly from this judgment.
What rights will be deprived further?
Contraception. Same – sex marriage. Same-sex sexual activities unanimously.

Alito directly refutes this in its written opinion.
Alito writes: “Finally, the controversy suggests that our decision calls into question Griswold, Eisenstadt, Lawrence and Obergefel. But we have made it clear that[n]something in this opinion needs to be understood in order to call into question precedents that do not apply to abortion. We have also explained why this is the case: the right to contraception and same-sex relationships are fundamentally different from the right to abortion, as the latter (as we have emphasized) uniquely encompass what Roe and Casey called “potential life.”
He explains that the judgment overturning Roe V Wade was based on the term potential life. Alito makes it clear once again that the Court does not want to accept the office of demigod, which is responsible for the beginning of life.
Others argue that the Court’s ruling deprives women of power, degrading their value and power over their bodies. California Congressman Eric Svalwell tried to point out that the verdict overturned women’s rights 50 years ago!

Congressman Adam Schiff said“The court’s decision to repeal Roe threatens women everywhere, depriving them of the right to choose their own health care.”
Nothing could be further from the truth.
Alito writes: “Our decision returns the issue of abortion to these legislatures, and it allows women on both sides of the abortion issue to seek to influence the legislative process by influencing public opinion, lobbying for legislators, voting and running for office. Women are not without elections or political power. the fact that the percentage of women registering to vote and casting ballot papers is consistently higher than the percentage of men doing so.
Throughout Roe’s thoughts, Alito is clear that his intention, along with other judges, is to hand over power to U.S. citizens. He restores the constitutional right to vote, lobby and pass laws at the state level.
Making this verdict and the public reaction has revealed a problem with most Americans. This problem is evident at all levels, from government to the media, to celebrities and the general public. Americans are generally lazy. Very few have wanted to read the judgment or rulings affected by the decision.
The lack of moral foundations and the lack of a sense of honor for others in Washington, television and leadership have enabled people to take advantage. They can create headlines, publish ideas and provoke a national debate that is a departure from the truth and far from the facts. Unfortunately, the American people have allowed them to abuse this weakness to stay in power.
This judgment is not a reduction of rights and freedoms; it is the empowerment of the people and the return to the constitutional foundation on which this nation was built.
