In a touching speech in Las Vegas on Friday night, Donald Trump suggested that convicted drug traffickers should be sentenced to death.
He revealed his former lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, was in hospital with “heart problems” a few days after he appeared in Fulton County to investigate Georgia prosecutors’ electoral fraud.
The former mayor of New York City is’ recovering ‘, Trump said,’ can you believe it? What did they do to Rudy? ‘
Holding hands on the podium, the former president called the United States a “failed state”, citing rising crime rates in major cities and an increase in immigrants on the southern border.
He also painted a grim picture of rising crime in American cities, with “old women being raped” and children being killed unethically in extraordinarily frightening voices.
“Simply put, we are a nation in decline. We are a failed nation, “Trump said.
He claimed that the country was suffering from a ‘deadly wave of anarchy and chaos’.
“Our country is on its knees, humiliated in front of the world, but we also expect the people of other countries to lecture on their democracy,” Trump said.
He followed suit with a statement that first appeared to irritate the 2024 bid.
‘So it’s a bit controversial. And I’ll either get a standing ovation – and I don’t care about the ovation, I care about the country – or people will come out of the room saying what I’m trying to say. But in the end, it’s time to dump her and move on. “
“If you look at countries around the world … it’s just a matter of executing drug traffickers who don’t have drug problems.”
The former president delivered an unusually dark speech in which he described the “blood” flowing on the streets of Democrat-run cities.

He added, “They are the only ones who have no problem.”
‘We just want it, it’s very simple, again a great country. And we should have a safe country. ‘
Describing the unusually dark details as the number of crimes he believes is growing, Trump claimed that Democrat-run cities are full of rape and murder crimes. He was quick to blame President Joe Biden’s policies for fueling the wave of violence.
‘The blood of these victims is almost exclusively in these Democrat strongholds. “Children have been killed, old women have been shot in the face and raped,” Trump said.
‘Old women are being raped. Children are being distorted by being stabbed. As a candidate, Joe Biden helped lead his party’s hate campaign against our police officers, and then he took the rioters ‘agenda straight to the White House.’
He said Biden’s recent executive order would increase police accountability – including bans on chokeholds, bans on no-knock warrants, and other measures – including “blaming police departments”.
Trump accused Biden of “staffing his administration with an army of anti-police extremists,” despite the president’s left-wing voices saying his closest advisers could be too lenient on the issue.
He also used crime wave concerns to start harassing another president.
Trump has said his former lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, is in hospital with “heart problems” just days after Georgia prosecutors introduced him to an ongoing election fraud investigation.
“The number one task for the new Republican Congress is to keep this extreme agenda on track. We want law and order, “Trump said.
‘And then we need to elect a Republican president in 2024 to end Joe Biden’s regime of anarchy.’
During the speech, Trump once again targeted New York Attorney General Lettie James, who has been a frequent political enemy since Democrat officials began an investigation into his family’s real estate in 2019.
He and his two eldest sons, Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr., have agreed to testify in a civil investigation by James that the Trump organization committed financial fraud by misrepresenting the value of its assets. His statement is scheduled for next Friday, July 15.
In a speech Friday night, Trump suggested that James’ investigation violated his civil rights.
Trump told his supporters, “We must dismantle every street gang, cartel and violent criminal organization active in the United States.” Prosecutors, not an easy task, must pursue these violent criminals and that is what it really means. ‘
‘In many cases, however, racist prosecutors must also be rigorously investigated for blatant violations of federal civil rights laws.’
New York Attorney General Letia James has been investigating the Trump organization since 2019. She appealed to Donald Trump and his two eldest children late last year.
Directly attacking James, he said: ‘This is happening to me, with a racist attorney general in New York, who campaigned only on the fact that he would get Donald Trump.
‘I said,’ Who is this woman? ‘ Is she crazy A little bit No, a lot, ‘he added, laughing at the crowd.
Trump opened his rally with a video montage that began with clips that said defending the police was a goal of mainstream National Democrats.
It ends with optimism, movie music and Trump’s promise: ‘We will succeed.’
But his rally presence began with an uproar when the former president began paying tribute to the recently assassinated former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe – but his introduction was drowned out by the song, Lee Greenwood’s ‘God Bless the USA’.
Republicans see Nevada as having weak blue seats that they could flip over in the coming midterms.
Trump is in Las Vegas to campaign for former Nevada Attorney General Adam Laxalt, who is now running to oust Democrat Senator Catherine Cortez Masto in November.
He is also stumping Nevada Gov. Gov. Joe Lombardo. Clark County Sheriff Lombardo won the Republican nomination in support of Trump and is now preparing to face incumbent Democrat Gov. Steve Sisolak.
Both races are considered toss-ups. Lombardo Five Thirty is just two points behind Sisolak on average.
A change research survey from the end of June shows that Cortez Masto has a small lead of three percent.
Trump is immediately following his Las Vegas speech with the Save America rally in Alaska.
This is the first of the former president’s two back-to-back rallies this weekend. He is speaking in Alaska on Saturday
Republican Nevada Senate candidate Adam Luxalt (3L) is speaking at a panel discussion at the “America First Agenda” rally where former U.S. President Donald Trump is scheduled to speak July 8, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
There, the former president is backing Republican Senate candidate Kelly Shibaka and former Alaskan governor and one-time vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
Palin is the longest-serving rip this year. Running to fill Don Young’s seat, Shibaka is trying to oust incumbent Senator Lisa Murkowski.
Murkowski is a fellow Republican who angered Trump by voting to convict him in his second impeachment trial.
The high-profile primary race will take place on August 16th.
Trump’s back-to-back campaign presence comes on the heels of several reports that he is seeking to announce another president’s bid soon, as the House of Representatives’s Jan. 6 committee investigation closes on his current and former allies.
And yet another indication that the former president wants to fight for the White House in 2024, he announced Wednesday night that his iconic ‘Trump Force One’ aircraft has returned to service after being almost unused since taking office in 2017.
The Boeing 757 jet was Trump’s favorite mode of transportation during the 2016 presidential election campaign.
